The 2010 Annual New Zealand Ecological Society Conference

logosmallglowThe 2010 Annual Conference of the New Zealand Ecological Society will be held at the University of Otago, Dunedin. The conference runs from 22 to 25 November, with a student day on Sunday 21 November. Monday 22 November is reserved for field trips and an evening welcome and registration function. This year's conference theme, 'Biodiversity: 2010 and Beyond', recognises and celebrates the United Nations International Year of Biodiversity (IYB).

  • Molecular ecology of New Zealand biota
  • Biodiversity and production lands: the benefits and the risks
  • Cultural perspectives on biodiversity research and management.

    The conference will offer a diverse range of presentations of ecological interest, and a variety of social activities. Information about the different components of the conference can be found on the tabs along the top, including information about accommodation in Dunedin.
